Flight lieutenant

Lovingly addressed as Booze by us at NDA. Not that he could ever lay his hands on that solid liquid at the NDA, but his eyes and face and manner of pronunciation, generally gave such a natural look, as though he was boozed.

Lovingly addressed as Booze by us at NDA. Not that he could ever lay his hands on that solid, liquid at the NDA, but his eyes and face and manner of pronunciation, generally gave such a natural look, as though he was boozed. His eyes were of the light bluish tinge, as far as one recollects. Now, God only knows who gave him that name, but all of us lovingly called him Booze. Booze was very excited and felt exalted about his Russian Language, the Foreign Language, that he had opted to learn. And generally he would look down upon us, who as per him were lesser mortals, those of us who had opted for some other Foreign Language. Came one midterm exam and Booze plugged in Russian. He was detained at the Academy, for two odd weeks or so during the Term-Break, to get his basics correct about the rudiments of the Russian Language. Thereafter Booze sobered down over his infatuation over the Russian Language. A wonderful Soul. Simple and Loving. He was an Ace Heptr Pilot. Sadly, he left us rather early, when he met with a motorcycle accident in 1985.

🙏May his soul rest in peace🙏
